Hungry Hikers…
April 16, 2011- The morning couldn’t have been more beautiful. We set up into the Whittier Hills to conquer another 2 hour hike to raise money for the adoption; and that’s exactly what we did. A total of $430 was raised and once again we are extremely thankful for everyone’s motivation to wake up early and pay money to get WORKED! The views were incredible, a full 360 degree experience to view downtown LA, buddhist temples, the snow-capped mountains and beautiful green surrounding hills. We had great conversations, laughed a little, sweat a lot, and got hungry!!! So as always, energy bars were served. And, because everyone loves them so much, the recipe is posted for your enjoyment. Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks for another workout!
